One Pattern-Two Methods-Three Styles, yes it’s true of our ever popular, Boiled Wool Mitten pattern. This pattern is so versatile and just by changing yarn each pair looks totally different.
The first and original design was our Snowman Mitten. Knit all one color and embellished with a blanket stitch trim and a wool snowman, which are precut and available here-Snowman for your convenience.
Second style and using the same pattern but using a simple 3 color gradient. These pictures show a 4 row color change. Think of the variety of color patterns you could use. Maybe your favorite team colors?
The third style is done with a striped cuff and then the body of the mitten has polka dots.
Our favorite type of yarn is one that felts nicely. Brown Sheep Nature Spun works perfectly for these mittens.
